Leaning from others/他の人から学ぶこと。

My phone is full of screen shots of amazing potteries. I try to mimic some of them. Simply I wonder - How to make the shape? How to make the color? This one I found on the internet and I was in love! The artist who made this style gave me ideas - make holes, raku crackles, tall structure, and curve some parts. My artist friend told me one day "All of famous artists from histories copied others and learned their techniques." I agree! The bee does not go to the flower to gather honey. The bee goes to the flower to gather pollen, and then bring the pollen home and makes her own honey. I will keep learning from others and creating my own. I appreciate your support and comments!

あたしの携帯にはめちゃくちゃいっぱいの陶芸のスクリーンショットがあります。真似して作ってみよう！ってやってみることも。それは、単純に、「どないなってるねん？」「この色、どうやって出すねん？」っていう興味から。この作品もインターネットで見つけて、一目惚れしたもの。その作品のアーティーストさんは、あたしに、穴開けて、ラクで作って、縦長の形にして、ところどころ、削ってアクセントにするっていうアイデアをくれました。あたしの友達のアーティーストさんが、「歴代の有名なアーティーストは、他の人の作品をコピーして、彼らのテクニックを学んできた」って。同感である。ハチは、蜂蜜を集めるために花に集まるんじゃなくて、花粉を集めるために花に集まってきて、その花粉を家に持ち帰って、自分の蜂蜜を作るんだと。これからも他のアーティストさんから学んで、自分の作品を作っていきたいと思います。サポートとコメント、大感謝です。
